"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works."- 2 Timothy 16-17

Heavenly Father
Praise Your holy name. Your Word in 2 Timothy 3: 16-17 reads:
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."
Lord, I thank You for Your inspired Word which provides me with knowledge, wisdom and understanding. I hold Your written Word as my standard for living - above every other doctrine. I declare that it is nourishment to my soul. Where I fall short, guide me to that part of Your Word which is profitable for reproof and correction.
O Lord, allow Your Holy Spirit to bring to my remembrance those areas in my life that need correction.
I receive Your Word as instruction in righteousness.
Prune me, O Lord, and let the fire of Your Word expose and destroy every sinful area in my life. I declare that I will continue to develop into a man (woman) of God who aspires towards perfection; and someone who is thoroughly equipped for all good works in Your kingdom - all to Your honour and glory. In Jesus' name I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.
